Revealed is a journey into sexual storytelling, your self, and a community who wants to know you.
It's dynamic— it will push you, it will make you laugh, and it will almost certainly make you cry.

why bother?
Sexuality is is at the heart of who we are as individuals and as a culture.
We aren’t given the tools or time to individually or collectively examine it, understand it, own it, and live it in a positive, fulfilling, normalizing way.
Revealed is a way to do just that inside a supportive, fun group.
Some of the best conversations I have ever had have been inside these groups.

All genders. All ages. All races. All ethnicities. All cultures. All professions. All.
If you have a heartbeat, you have sexuality. If you 'have' sexuality and a desire to self-reflect, you will love REVEALED.
The course is inclusive and individual. In language. In viewpoints. In histories. In experiences. In goals.

The framework
1. Macro and micro examination.
2. A concise framework in which to think, write, and speak, allows for powerful transformation.
3. There is power in reflecting, sharing, and witnessing.
The methodology was created by Dr. Juliana Hauser, has been refined over 20 years, and used in university classrooms, with individuals and groups.
curriculum

Introductions, overview of the year together, expectations and intentions.
Form agreements as a group.
Go over the concepts of sexuality and sexual agency.
2 minute talks.
Discuss making your timeline, and the first deep dive: sensuality.

Two minute talks.
Share timelines.
Discuss and share reflections and/or stories related to sensuality.

Discuss and share reflections and/or stories on the topic of health and reproduction.
Bonus class Sex Ed for Adults

Discuss and share reflections and/or stories on the topics of pleasure and desire.

Discuss and share reflections and/or stories on the topics of Behaviours and Practices, and Identity.

Halfway point!
Check in and refine original intentions.
Discuss and share reflections and/or stories on the topic of Sexualization.

Discuss and share reflections and/or stories on the topics of Relationships and Intimacy.

Discuss and share reflections and/or stories on the topics of Love and Connection.

Discuss and share reflections and/or stories on the topic of Agency.

This is maybe the best part! Over the next two meetings, each participant will read two stories of their choosing.
You have the opportunity to invite up to 3 friends and family to join in on these special sessions.

The other half of participants will read two stories of their choosing.

We will discuss our reflections of the patterns we have discovered throughout the year, and identify any goals moving forward.
Each participant will give an “Essence Talk.”
We meet as a group via zoom for one formal 2 hour session per month. Attendance is mandatory. And I get shit happens. If you have to miss one, you will receive the recording the next day. We have a group Whatsapp group, where it is easy to share an update, and remain connected to the group. Witnessing the camaraderie in those groups is one of my favourite things.
You also have access to 15 minute 1:1 support calls with me (Katrina) throughout the year.
You can use that time to work through any blocks you are having with the topics, journalling questions, story development, etc.
